Transit Pinas, started in 2017 and this is the author’s personal journal from his adventures, that seeks to help and inspire fellow travelers in their quest to discover places, promote responsible traveling, respect the local way, and have a deeper understanding of nature.
Life is finite and the world is not a checklist, we discover places at our own pace and timing, and not dictated by the homogeneous opinion of the public. The Author
Rex Lim Lim is the author behind Transit Pinas. He is the youngest of four and a graduate of the College of Engineering of Far Eastern University – Institute of Technology. He received his degree in Electrical Engineering in 2015 and is now a licensed professional working for a steel company in Pampanga. He grew up in Meycauayan, Bulacan, and graduated from A.F.G. Bernardino Memorial Trade School in Marilao, Bulacan.
The author dreams to visit the 81 provinces of the Philippines before he reaches the age of 30, to know more about the daily lives of the local people, their culture, and their natural wonders. Join him as he embarks on a journey of a lifetime above mountain tops and under the ocean currents.
As Robert Louis Stevenson said, “For my part, I travel not to go anywhere but to go. I travel for travel’s sake. The great affair is to move.”
