Tierra Alta Residential Resort is open for walk-in guests and is open daily from 09:00am to 06:00pm. Don’t miss out and include this as your quick sidetrip when going around Negros Oriental.

The main draw of this residential resort is the imposing lighthouse that will reward you with a 360degree view of the surrounding areas. El Faro De Tierra Alta or Tierra Alta Lighthouse has become famous for its grand setting contrasted by the mountain highlands.

This is further surrounded by Greek inspired buildings for the restaurants and hotels. Couples from around the region takes their pre-nuptial photos here.

Tierra Alta Residential Resort is located in Brgy. Palinpinon, Valencia, Negros Occidental. (9.4 kilometers from Dumaguete)

The nearest transportation hub is the Sibulan Airport in Dumaguete City.
Cebu Pacific flies to Dumaguete at the following schedules:
- MNL- DGT – 4x daily (0625, 0935, 1340, 1615) travel time is 1.5 hours
  - I tried to mock book a month in advance and cheapest regular roundtrip fare costs around 2,914php
- CEB-DGT – 4x daily (0540, 1050, 1730, 1910)
  - I tried to mock book a month in advance and cheapest regular roundtrip fare costs around 1,939php
- Philippine Airlines flies to Dumaguete at the following schedules:
  - MNL – DGT – 3x daily (0400, 0840, 1325) travel time 1.5hrs
    - I tried to mock book a month in advance and cheapest regular roundtrip fare costs around 3,949php
- From the city proper take a multicab bound for Valencia (20-30mins, 15php) then charter a motorcycle going to Tierra Alta Resort, haggle with the price. If coming from the city, charter a habal-habal to take you there directly, price ranges from 300-400php depending on your arrangement.

- Alternatively, you can avail the services of Deodor Mapula who took us on a habal-habal trip to Balinsasayao Twin Lakes, Pulang Bato Falls, Kaipuhan Sulfur Vents, Casaroro Falls and Tierra Alta Lighthouse for 1600php/ 2pax.
