Coming all the way from Mati City in Davao Oriental, we ventured further north on our second day in Davao Region.

Compostela Valley, now Davao De Oro is often dubbed as the summer capital of Davao Region. Moreover, the climate here is cool almost all year round given that the elevation is around 1400MASL and it is surrounded by valleys and mountains.

Tagbibinta Falls

From the town proper near the footholds of Mt. Candalaga, Tagbibinta Falls is a place you shouldn’t miss.

Located in Brgy. Coronabe, this rather tourist friendly and a place frequented by locals is now developed as a resort.

It has a total of thirteen series but only seven are explored by locals. But there is only one accessible during our visit since the other two trail going to the other falls are under construction. Consequently, going to the first tier is really just a walk in the park.
